About HCI

Healthcare Careers Initiative (HCI) is a partnership of Cuyahoga Community College, University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Employment Connection working together to promote employment in healthcare environments by offering information, education and support to students and adults interested in pursuing healthcare careers.

This initiative was created through a federal grant with the mission of promoting careers in healthcare environments to address worker shortages.

HCI reaches out to students from grade school through high school and college as well as adults, including people already employed in healthcare environments who are looking to grow within the healthcare field.
